Leather cigar box has HEAVY HEAVY mildew smell

It's a very nice looking leather covered cigar book/box. But it has an overwhelming MILDEW small. It stinks up a small room. No visible mildew on it so it might be the glue or dye used in manufacturing it. But I can't recommend it because this thing really STINKS
